Konosuke Matsushita Museum
Digital exhibition concept

For the 100 year anniversary of Panasonic, a commemorative museum dedicated to the life of the company’s founder Konosuke Matsushita was built.
Inside the museum we find a walk through the life of the entrepreneur and inventor from humble beginnings to an international global player.
It introduces the visitor to the history and products of the past as well as the writings and philosophies of Matsushita that were important to his success and still inspire companies and people today.
We co-developed the initial concept of the exhibition architecture and content in collaboration with Panasonic.
For the library section of the museum we developed a research application to allow visitors to explore and learn about Konosuke Matsushita’s life individually as well as an interactive wall installation that allows a more playful approach and quick overview over the more than 100 publications based on Matsushita’s philosophies.(Currently, some of the exhibition contents are different.)
For the center of the exhibition space we developed a serene projection installation that reflect the motive of nature used within the general exhibition architecture. Furthermore it provides a point of relaxation and calm atmosphere to rest at and read the most impactful quotes of Konosuke Matsushita.
