Smart mirror UI/UX
softdevice has designed the UI/UX for ECILA, a smart device mirror for TAKARA BELMONT Corp.
The AI-powered smart device mirror projects a clear image as both a mirror and a display. Through visual communication with this product, it helps stylists to propose more confidently to customers by eliciting their preferences and target images. It also connects salons and customers outside the salon, expanding the potential of the salon business.
softdevice, together with TAKARA BELMONT Corp., analyzed and visualized the salon experience through workshops with people from various professions such as sales, product planning, and education, and through interviews with salon managers. We then co-created UX-centered concepts and ideas, which were embodied in smart device mirrors and UI prototypes for stylist/customer sites.
