Running Smartwatch UI
Running and sports watches became an essential product that shifted the focus for personal data gathering and evaluation away from the personal computer.
It makes comprehensive design necessary that includes a high value UX within a minimal size but still allows the easy supervision and acquisition of personal data and smartphone interaction.
We designed the GUI for an immersive web portal, smartphone application as well as the integrated interface of the watch itself.
Based on prior product design concepts developed by external company, we interpreted those ideas in practical user interfaces.
We added a simple animation- and interaction concepts to enhance not only the feel, but to enhance the user’s motivation and product satisfaction over long time frames.
