On August 16, "Daimonji Party," an annual summer event of softdevice held in conjunction with the Gozan-no-Okuribi in Kyoto, was held. We have held the event online for the past few years, but we felt it was time to explore a different format for 2022. So this year, softdevice designed a hybrid party that connects the online venue where guests are welcomed and the real venue where staff members are waiting. Softdevice developed content that blended online and offline, such as a remote-controlled radio-controlled car running through a diorama in the office and a live session using sounds from an electric suikinkutsu (water fountain).
